We're New Orleans' oldest public library, a Carnegie library built in 1907. Our building has weathered the deadliest of hurricanes with barely a scratch. It did not flood after Hurricane Katrina; it's above sea level. Learn more about our history, and about the status of our library.

We will be offering drop-in homework help and tutoring, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
